NOTE: I added a bit more color to the original

I really wanted to work up one of those earlier thumbnails I made. Of course, it went in a completely different direction than I thought. Was fun to do. Still learning. The best part for me was I really was stuck and it was frustrating for a long time but I pushed through and fairly happy with the result. Still need to improve a lot though. Hope you like it and your feedback would e most appreciated. Here are some of the steps I went through.
